Fiber Information:
As luck would have it, shorter fibers make great felt, while longer fibers make great yarn. This means we get to use the fleeces not long enough to make our Nash Island Yarn to make beautiful felting fibers.
Color Information:
Always inspired by the colors found in the rugged nature of Nash Island and Downeast Maine, we offer four felting wool colorways. Our special dyeing technique creates subltle variations of color in the wool. Light and dark highlights of single hues are carefully blended to create beautiful shading in even the simplest felt projects. Our lobster pot kettle-dyeing allows us to dye up to 1 pound of wool at a time. If you are interested in ordering a larger quanity of a single color, just e-mail!
