Fiber Information:
During shearing we carefully select fleeces for our Nash Island Light yarn.
The Coopworth-Romney breeding in the flock provides open & wavy locks with excellent fiber strength, while the Corriadale breeding has given the wool finer crimp and more elasticity.
The resulting yarn has the perfect blend of softness, bounce and luster.
Colorway Information:
We're always inspired by the colors found in the rugged nature of Nash Island and Downeast Maine.
Our special lobster pot kettle- dyeing technique creates subtle variations in color in each skein. Light & dark highlights of single hues create beautiful shading in even the simplest knitting.
If you're ordering multiple skeins, we'll make sure they're from the same dye pot.
